RMU used a 16-1 run late in the second half to secure a 71-56 victory over Detroit Mercy on Wednesday evening.
Amarion Dickerson set a program record with eight blocks in the win. All five starters scored in double figures as the Colonials improved to 12-2 at the UPMC Events Center. RMU is 5-6 in road games this season.
NORTHERN KENTUCKY LATELY
Dan Gherezgher Jr.'s career-high 26 points led Northern Kentucky to an 85-75 victory over Cleveland State, snapping the Vikings' 13-game winning streak on Wednesday. The Norse are 9-5 at home this season.
