GREEN BAY, Wi. – RMU women's basketball closed their two-game road trip with a loss at Green Bay on Saturday afternoon, 71-39. The Colonials are now 10-14 and hold a 6-9 record in Horizon League play.
FIRST QUARTER
- RMU picked up right where they left off against Milwaukee, scoring the basketball often as they picked up nine points in the first two minutes played.
- The Colonials had by far their best shooting performance in this stanza as the visitors shot 7-14 from the field in the first frame.
- RMU's defense stayed potent as well only allowing Green Bay to make 33% of their shots while outrebounding the Phoenix 8-6. RMU would go to the second frame with a 15-13 lead.
SECOND QUARTER
- The Phoenix came out looking to flip the script as Green Bay started the frame by going on a 7-0 run.
- RMU's lone field goal came three minutes into the quarter off of a Noa Givon three-pointer but afterwards the Colonials were held scoreless for the remaining seven minutes of the stanza. Green Bay shot 6-8 from 3P and 60 percent from the field to put RMU on their heels. The Colonials went to the break trailing by 19 points.
THIRD QUARTER
- RMU's offensive woes continued in the third quarter by shooting a season-low 1-11 from the field while scoring six points.
- Green Bay continued to keep up the tempo and shot 61 percent from the field while making three shots from beyond the arc. RMU went to the final quarter with a sizeable deficit to overcome.
 FOURTH QUARTER
- RMU opened the quarter scoring fast as they made the first five buckets of the frame including a three-point play from Micah O'Dell.
- The Colonials would outscore Green Bay 15-10 in the frame as RMU attacked the free-throw line going 6-7 from the charity stripe.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Jennica Suggs and
Isys Grady each led the Colonials with six points as Suggs added a team-high six rebounds as well. This is the first time all season where the Colonials didn't have a double-digit scorer to finish a game.

The Colonials will return home next Thursday when they host IU Indy at the UPMC Events Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and can be seen live on ESPN+.
