INDIANAPOLIS – The Robert Morris Men's Basketball team are the 2025 Horizon League Champions.
The Colonials (26-8) secured their first Horizon League title with a 89-78 victory over Youngstown State (21-13) on Tuesday night at Corteva Coliseum. The win marks RMU's 10th NCAA Tournament appearance and extends their winning streak to 10 games.

Josh Omojafo delivered a standout performance with 24 points and a career-high 13 rebounds, while Tournament MVP
Kam Woods contributed 17 points. Alvero Folgueiras added 14 points and a career-best seven assists to fuel RMU's victory.
1st HALF
RMU stormed out to an 11-0 lead in the first three minutes, fueled by two early three-pointers from Woods. Youngstown State responded, cutting the deficit to 19-17 midway through the half. The Penguins pulled within a single point inside the final two minutes, but an
Ismael Plet dunk and a Woods layup sent RMU into halftime with a 34-29 lead.
2nd HALF
Youngstown State's Cris Carroll hit a three-pointer at 11:23 to close the gap to 54-52, but RMU took control down the stretch. A clutch Folgueiras three-pointer at 4:58 pushed the lead to 73-62, and the Colonials maintained their double-digit cushion, sealing the win with an Omojafo free throw to make it 89-76.

- DJ Smith was also named to the All-Tournament team
- Omojafo had 18 points and 10 rebounds in the second half.
- This was his first career double-double.
- RMU was selected ninth in the Horizon League preseason poll
- The Colonials made 11 of 22 3-pointers with Smith and Folgueiras each hitting three apiece.
- Smith added six assists
- RMU also made the NCAA Tournament in 1982, 1983, 1989, 1990, 1992, 2009, 2010, 2015 and 2020 prior to it being canceled
- The Colonials are 10-5 all-time in conference championship games
