Why RMU? "I'm the type of person who values building strong relationships with the people around me. I first met Coach Jexx at a tournament in Indiana, and we instantly clicked. Even though it was my first time meeting him, I immediately felt cared for and supported. Later, I attended a softball camp at RMU and met Coach Maddy, who was so kind and made me feel right at home. Coach Jexx told me that the softball team was like a family and that is exactly what I've been looking for. An opportunity to play the game I love while being a part of something bigger, a family. This means so much to me, especially since I will be eight hours away from home. At the camp, I also felt a real connection with the girls; they made me feel valued and welcomed. RMU is a beautiful campus. As I participated in the admissions tour, it had a very focused business program. I have decided I want to major in business and RMU will provide me with the guidance to accomplish this goal." – Taylor Ryan

"Taylor is an extremely strong and explosive player. She has great raw talent with a tenacity to keep getting better. Her pop and speed will jump off the page the day she steps on campus. Taylor and her family will be great additions to the culture of our program." – Jexx Varner
