MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Robert Morris (11-8, 3-5 HL) travels to Highland Heights, Kentucky, to face Northern Kentucky (14-6, 6-3 HL) Saturday at 7:00 PM. The Horizon League contest will be held at Truist Arena and marks the second meeting of the season between the Colonials and the Norse.
 
RMU LATELY       
Robert Morris fell 96-93 in an overtime loss on the road against IU Indy on Thursday night. Ryan Prather Jr. led the Colonials with 21 points, while DeSean Goode contributed 20 points and eight rebounds in the effort.
 
NORTHERN KENTUCKY LATELY      
Northern Kentucky had a convincing 96-71 victory over Detroit Mercy on Thursday evening at Truist Arena. LJ Wells anchored the Norse offense with a game-high 35 points and seven rebounds, while Dan Gherezgher and Donovan Oday each contributed 15 points. Wells' 35 points is tied for the HL single-game high this season.
 
RMU AND NORTHERN KENTUCKY HISTORY
RMU and Northern Kentucky first met when the Colonials joined the Horizon League in the 2020-21 season. The programs have met 11 times, with the Norse winning eight of those contests. Of those 11 matchups, eight have been decided by 10 points or less, and six have been two-possession outings. Last season, the teams played in RMU's first-ever triple-overtime meeting, marking the first time the program has gone to 3OT in its 1,448-game history.
 
RMU AND NORTHERN KENTUCKY LAST TIME OUT                   
In their first meeting of the season on December 29, 2025, Northern Kentucky defeated Robert Morris 79-77 at the UPMC Events Center. Donovan Oday led the Norse with 16 points, including two free throws in the final seconds to secure the road victory. DeSean Goode recorded 18 points and 14 rebounds for the Colonials in the loss.

WHAT'S NEXT
RMU returns home to the UPMC Events Center for a three-game homestand. The Colonials will host Milwaukee on Thursday, January 22 at 7 PM, followed by a Saturday afternoon meeting with Green Bay on January 24 at 2 PM. The homestand concludes on Wednesday, January 28 at 7 PM with a rematch against IU Indy, which will be aired live on SportsNet Pittsburgh.
