RMU LATELY
RMU (5-5-3, 2-2-2 #HLWSOC) saw its four-game unbeaten streak come to an end with a 2-0 loss to Northern Kentucky. The defeat also snapped the Colonials' streak of 433 consecutive minutes without allowing a goal, the second-longest shutout streak in program history.

Through 13 games, senior forward Madison Sievering leads the Colonials with two goals, four assists and eight points. Alyssa Mella has recorded a team-high three assists, while Julia Becerra has also scored twice. Senior defender Shauna Gamble leads the team with 1,168 minutes played.

The Colonials currently sit sixth in the Horizon League standings with eight points, holding the final position in the conference tournament field. RMU trails Wright State and Cleveland State, who are tied with 10 points. In their final five regular-season contests, the Colonials will face three teams currently occupying playoff positions and two teams outside the tournament field.

DEFENSE FIRST
RMU has put together one of the strongest defensive seasons in program history. The Colonials rank second in the Horizon League in goals-against average, allowing just 0.85 goals per game. They have surrendered only 11 goals through 13 contests and are on pace to challenge the program record for fewest goals allowed in a season, set at 22 in 2007.

Senior goalkeeper Emma Cameron has anchored the Colonials' defensive effort. She ranks second in the conference with a 0.60 goals-against average and leads the Horizon League with an .841 save percentage.

ALL-TIME VS. GREEN BAY
RMU has never lost to Green Bay, posting a 1-0-4 record against the Phoenix. The teams played to a 2-2 draw last season, with Ava Trethewey converting a penalty kick and RMU alum Paloma Swankler also finding the back of the net. The Colonials and Phoenix played to a 1-1 draw in 2024 before RMU earned a 5-1 victory in Moon Township in 2023.

SCOUTING THE PHOENIX
Green Bay (9-1-3, 4-1-1 #HLWSOC) sits third in the Horizon League standings with 13 conference points. The Phoenix opened the season with a 10-game unbeaten streak before suffering their first loss, a 2-1 setback on the road against Wright State. Green Bay has since played to a draw against Northern Kentucky and earned a victory over IU Indy.

Junior forward Laney Stark leads the Phoenix with four goals, while fifth-year midfielder Aixa Helbringer-Escobar has recorded a team-high three assists. Sophomore defender Jess Howard has started all 13 games and logged 1,170 minutes. Sophomore goalkeeper Anna Scott has also started every contest, recording eight shutouts and an .828 save percentage.

ALL-TIME VS. MILWAUKEE
The Colonials will look to earn their first program victory over Milwaukee, which holds a 10-0 all-time record against RMU.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
Milwaukee (8-4-2, 6-0 #HLWSOC) enters the week unbeaten in Horizon League play, sitting atop the conference standings. The Panthers faced a challenging non-conference schedule, taking on ranked opponents Tennessee, Georgia and Wisconsin, along with Iowa, which was receiving votes in the national polls.

Senior forward Emily Petring leads Milwaukee with eight goals, three assists and 19 points. Four additional players have recorded three assists. Freshman defender Emily Urban leads the Panthers with 1,260 minutes played, while goalkeeper Lauren Nidey has started all 14 games, earning eight wins and recording six shutouts with a .696 save percentage.

COMMON OPPONENTS
Outside of conference play, RMU and Milwaukee share one common opponent in Eastern Michigan. Both teams played the Eagles to scoreless draws earlier this season.
