MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – For the second consecutive week, Robert Morris has swept the Horizon League Men's Basketball weekly awards.
Ryan Prather Jr. was named Player of the Week, while
Darius Livingston earned his second straight Freshman of the Week honor.
The duo spearheaded a dominant week for the Colonials, leading the team to a pair of double-digit victories. RMU secured an 85-68 road win at Cleveland State on Feb. 12 before returning home to defeat Oakland, 93-69, on Feb. 15.
Prather delivered an elite offensive stretch, averaging 21.5 points while shooting a blistering 64.0% from the floor and 53.3% from beyond the arc. He was equally masterful as a playmaker, averaging 8.0 assists per game and maintaining a remarkable 16.0 assist-to-turnover ratio over the two-game span.
In the win at Cleveland State, Prather Jr. tied his career-high with 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting, including five 3-pointers and six assists. He followed that performance with a double-double in the victory over Oakland, racking up 18 points on 6-of-10 shooting and a career-high 10 assists with zero turnovers and a steal.
Livingston continued his standout debut season by securing his second consecutive Freshman of the Week award. He averaged 15.0 points and 3.0 assists per game across the two victories, providing consistent scoring punch for the RMU backcourt.
Livingston opened the week with 15 points and four rebounds in the road win at Cleveland State. He mirrored that scoring output against Oakland, finishing with 15 points and knocking down a career-high five 3-pointers to help anchor the home victory.
Robert Morris (18-10, 10-7 HL) now looks ahead to a rematch on the road at first place Wright State (17-10, 12-4 HL) on Sunday, February 22. The game will air on ESPNU.
