RMU LATELY
RMU (16-8, 4-2 #HLSB) is coming off its first series loss of the season after dropping two of three games at Oakland. Despite the setback, the Colonials' offense remained productive, totaling 17 runs across the series.
Redshirt senior
Courtney Poulich led the way with seven RBI and two home runs, while sophomore
Mary Brant also launched a pair of long balls. In the circle, redshirt freshman
Madison Brown secured her fifth win of the season in the series opener.
Junior catcher
Aglaia Rudd continues to pace the Colonials offensively, leading the team in batting average (.577), hits (41) and on-base percentage (.595). Poulich has been the team's top run producer, recording 43 runs scored, 14 home runs, 43 RBI and a 1.107 slugging percentage.
In the circle, Brown owns a team-best 2.66 ERA, while Molitoris leads the staff with six wins and 58 strikeouts over 54.1 innings pitched.
RECORDS ARE MEANT TO BE BROKEN
As a team, RMU has already blasted 47 home runs this season. The program record of 50, set in 2025, is within reach, as the Colonials are averaging nearly two home runs per game and are on pace to surpass that mark this week.
The Colonials have also matched last season's total with 12 games scoring 10 or more runs and need just one more to set a new program record.
Individually, Poulich recently became the program's all-time home run leader with her 36th career long ball. After setting single-season records in 2025 with 53 RBI, 16 home runs and 45 runs scored, she is already approaching those marks again in 2026 with 43 RBI, 14 home runs and 43 runs.

Rudd enters the week riding a nine-game hitting streak, the longest of her career. Poulich has also been consistent at the plate, carrying a seven-game hitting streak while reaching base safely in 14 consecutive contests.
