MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Following her Horizon League Player of the Week honors, redshirt senior
Courtney Poulich has earned national recognition, being named the D1Softball Mid-Major Player of the Week.
The accolade marks Poulich's second career national recognition after earning Honorable Mention honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association in 2025. She also becomes the first player in program history to receive a weekly award from D1Softball.
Poulich delivered a dominant performance at the plate this past week, going 12-for-19 (.632). Among her 12 hits were four home runs, along with her first triple of the season and two doubles.
She finished the week with 14 RBIs while posting a .682 on-base percentage and a staggering 1.474 slugging percentage.
Poulich continues to pace the Horizon League across multiple offensive categories, leading the conference in slugging percentage (1.115), OPS (1.672), runs scored (58), RBIs (64) and home runs (21). She also ranks among the league's top three in batting average (.469) and on-base percentage (.557).
Up next, Poulich and the Colonials are set to host Pitt today at the NAC Softball Field. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 PM, with the game streaming live on ESPN+.
