MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU softball team continues its week of non-conference play with a doubleheader against La Roche on Saturday, April 25. First pitch is set for 1:00 PM, and both games will stream live on ESPN+.
RMU LATELY
RMU (21-15, 8-7 #HLSB) is coming off a midweek loss to Pitt on Tuesday.
Courtney Poulich and
Eloise Facher each recorded an RBI in the contest. The Colonials are now 6-1 against Pennsylvania-based teams this season.
Poulich is coming off one of the most dominant weekly performances in program history. She was named Horizon League Player of the Week, became the first Colonial to earn D1Softball Mid-Major Player of the Week honors, and secured a spot on the NCAA Lineup of the Week.
Through 36 games, junior catcher
Aglaia Rudd leads the team in batting average (.533), hits (57), doubles (12), and on-base percentage (.573). Poulich continues to power the offense, ranking first on the team in OPS (1.634), slugging percentage (1.085), home runs (21), runs scored (58), and RBIs (65).

Madison Brown leads the pitching staff with a 4.91 ERA, while
Kaitlyn Molitoris owns a team-high 84 strikeouts. Brown, Molitoris, and
Madelyn Coleman have each recorded six wins this season.
RECORD WATCH
Poulich enters the weekend with 138 career RBIs and 122 runs scored. The program records stand at 144 RBIs and 130 runs, putting both marks well within reach. She has also totaled 65 RBIs this season, closing in on the Horizon League single-season record of 78.
MILESTONE WATCH
Sophomore
Mary Brant is four hits shy of 100 for her career, while Coleman is 10 strikeouts away from reaching 200.

Saturday marks the first-ever meeting between RMU and La Roche.
SCOUTING THE REDHAWKS
La Roche (9-27, 5-9 AMCC) enters the weekend on an eight-game losing streak and currently sits seventh in the AMCC standings.
Junior Maura Wade leads the Redhawks in hits (53), doubles (14), batting average (.445), on-base percentage (.488), and slugging percentage (.580). Sophomore Finley Hohn has driven in a team-high 33 RBIs, while Brooke Murgenovich has scored 34 runs.
In the circle, Wade also leads the pitching staff with a 4.45 ERA, 25 strikeouts, and two saves. Freshman Taylor Young has recorded five wins, while Klover Haberthier has logged a team-high 63.2 innings pitched.
