MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Three Colonials were named to the 2026 Valeo Horizon League All-Academic Team, as
Courtney Poulich,
Madelyn Coleman and
Mary Brant each earned recognition, while
Kaitlyn Molitoris was tabbed an Honorable Mention selection.
Poulich, a redshirt senior, collects All-Academic honors for the second consecutive season and has also twice been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. A Health Science major, she carries a perfect 4.00 GPA and has previously earned NFCA Easton All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.
On the field, Poulich has put together one of the most dominant offensive seasons in the country. She ranks second nationally in RBIs per game (1.95) and runs per game (1.63), while sitting fourth in home runs per game (0.55) and sixth in slugging percentage (1.083). She leads the Horizon League in each of those categories and has totaled 78 RBIs, 65 runs and 22 home runs. Poulich has been named Horizon League Player of the Week twice this season and earned D1Softball Mid-Major Player of the Week honors once.
Coleman, a senior from Ellicott City, Md., earns All-Academic Team honors for the first time in her career after being named an NFCA Easton All-America Scholar-Athlete in 2025. A Psychology major with a 3.965 GPA, she has been a key contributor in the circle this season.
Coleman has recorded seven wins while totaling 50 strikeouts, along with one shutout and four complete games during the 2026 campaign.
Brant, a sophomore from Poland, Ohio, also garners All-Academic recognition for the first time. She was named an NFCA Easton All-America Scholar-Athlete last season and currently holds a 3.803 GPA while majoring in Statistics & Data Science.
Brant has delivered an impressive sophomore season at the plate, hitting .389 with 12 home runs, 46 RBIs and 36 runs scored. She ranks third in the Horizon League in home runs, fourth in slugging percentage (.802), sixth in RBIs and seventh in hits (49).
Molitoris, a junior from McKees Rocks, Pa., earned Honorable Mention All-Academic Team honors. She was also named an NFCA Easton All-America Scholar-Athlete last season and maintains a 3.70 GPA as a Health Sciences major.
In the circle, Molitoris has recorded seven wins and 92 strikeouts this season. She ranks among the top 10 in the Horizon League in strikeouts, ERA and opposing batting average.
