4/9/2026 8:00:00 AM

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU softball team travels to Highland Heights, Ky. for a three-game Horizon League series against Northern Kentucky. Game one is set for Friday, April 10 at 3:00 PM, followed by a doubleheader on Saturday, April 11 beginning at 12:00 PM. Live stats will be available for all three games.

RMU LATELY
RMU (17-10, 5-4 #HLSB) looks to bounce back after dropping two of three games to Youngstown State last weekend. The Colonials claimed the middle game of the series in dramatic fashion, as sophomore Marta Gualazzi launched a walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh inning—her first career homer.

Junior catcher Aglaia Rudd paced RMU offensively against the Penguins, hitting .556 while recording three runs and five hits. Courtney Poulich continued her standout season with four RBIs and two home runs, while Madelyn Coleman earned her third win of the year in the circle.

Through 27 games, Rudd leads the Colonials in multiple categories, including batting average (.575), OPS (1.684), hits (46), doubles (11), slugging percentage (1.088) and on-base percentage (.596). Poulich continues to power the offense with 16 home runs, 46 runs scored and 47 RBIs, while freshman Alivia Hare has added nine stolen bases.

In the circle, Madison Brown owns a team-best 4.64 ERA, while Kaitlyn Molitoris has recorded six wins and 68 strikeouts.

RECORD WATCH
As a team, the Colonials broke the program's single-season home run record this past weekend, reaching 51 on the year with 16 regular season games still remaining.

Individually, Poulich has already rewritten parts of the record book. She surpassed her single-season runs scored mark from last year, now sitting at 46, and has matched her home run total from 2025 with 16. She also has 47 RBIs, closing in on her program record of 53 set last season.
