MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Junior
Aglaia Rudd, sophomore
Mary Brant and redshirt senior
Courtney Poulich each earned a spot on the 2026 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division I All-Region Team. Rudd and Brant were named to the Great Lakes First Team, while Poulich earned Second Team honors.
NFCA member head coaches from each respective region vote on the teams, and all student-athletes selected are now eligible for 2026 NFCA All-America honors.
Rudd and Brant become the sixth and seventh players in program history to earn NFCA All-Region First Team recognition and the first since Natalie Higgins in 2021.
Rudd put together a historic junior campaign for the Colonials. The Greenfield, Indiana native was the only player in all of Division I softball to not record a strikeout during the season, finishing with zero strikeouts over 156 at-bats.
Her .551 batting average set both a new Horizon League single-season record and RMU single-season record, making her the first player in conference and program history to finish a season batting above .500.
Nationally, Rudd ranks second in batting average, fourth in slugging percentage (1.083), sixth in on-base percentage (.590), seventh in home runs per game (0.47) and 13th in RBIs per game (1.36).
Rudd was also named the 2026 Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year, earned All-League First Team honors and was selected as the conference's Player of the Week three times during the season.
Brant earned NFCA All-Region First Team honors in just her sophomore season after being named the Horizon League Co-Freshman of the Year a season ago. She has twice been named Horizon League Player of the Week during her career and also earned a spot on the 2026 Horizon League All-Academic Team.
The Poland, Ohio native started 46 games this season and ranked among the top five in the conference in batting average (.395), slugging percentage (.821), OPS (1.253), hits (64), RBIs (57), doubles (13), triples (4) and home runs (16).
Poulich capped off one of the most accomplished careers in RMU softball history by rewriting both program and Horizon League record books. She owns RMU career records in home runs (47), RBIs (161) and runs scored (141), while also setting new Horizon League single-season records in home runs (25) and RBIs (88) during the 2026 campaign.
Throughout her career, Poulich earned All-League First Team honors twice, was named to the Horizon League All-Academic Team twice and collected Horizon League Player of the Week honors four times. In 2026, she was named the Horizon League Player of the Year.
Poulich was also named the 2025 Horizon League Tournament MVP and earned All-Tournament Team honors during this year's postseason run alongside Rudd and Brant.
Nationally, Poulich ranked second in RBIs per game (1.80), second in runs per game (1.57), fifth in home runs per game (0.51) and ninth in slugging percentage (1.000).
