Rudd Named to Softball America Top 100 Players of 2026 List

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Junior catcher Aglaia Rudd has been named to Softball America's Top 100 Players of 2026 list, earning the No. 82 spot nationally following a historic season for the Colonials.
 
Since arriving at RMU, the Greenfield, Indiana, native has established herself as one of the top players in program history. During the 2026 campaign, Rudd collected numerous accolades while helping lead the Colonials to a runner-up finish in the Horizon League Championship.
 
Rudd earned NFCA All-Region First Team honors and was named the Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year. She also garnered All-Horizon League First Team recognition and was selected as the conference's Player of the Week three times throughout the season.
 
During the final week of the regular season, Rudd swept the national weekly awards, earning Softball America Player of the Week, Louisville Slugger/NFCA Player of the Week and D1Softball Mid-Major Player of the Week honors.
 
Her statistical performance ranked among the nation's best. Rudd finished the season as the only player in NCAA Division I softball without a strikeout. She ranked second nationally in batting average (.551), fourth in slugging percentage (1.083), sixth in on-base percentage (.590), eighth in runs per game (1.30), eighth in doubles per game (0.36), ninth in RBIs per game (1.36), tied for 10th in home runs (22) and tied for 11th in hits (86).
 
Within the Horizon League, Rudd led the conference in batting average, slugging percentage, OPS (1.673), hits, on-base percentage, fielding percentage (.996) and doubles (17).
 
Rudd also etched her name throughout the RMU record book. She established new program single-season records for batting average and hits while tying Courtney Poulich's school records for RBIs in a game with seven against Akron and home runs in a game with three against Detroit Mercy.
 
At the 2026 Horizon League Championship, Rudd played a pivotal role in guiding the Colonials to the title game. Across six tournament contests, she batted .550 with four RBIs, seven runs scored and a .625 on-base percentage, earning a place on the Horizon League All-Tournament Team.
