Elliott, Johnson, Reineke and Wilson Earn CSC Academic All-District® Honors

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU men's hockey student-athletes Dominic Elliott, Patrick Johnson, Jackson Reineke and Trent Wilson have been named to the CSC Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team, recognizing their excellence both in the classroom and on the ice.
 
The CSC Academic All-District® program honors the nation's top student-athletes for their combined academic and athletic achievements. Academic All-America® honorees will be selected from the Academic All-District® recipients and announced later this summer.
 
To be eligible for Academic All-District® recognition, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 while meeting significant competition and athletic performance standards.
 
 
Dominic Elliott (Sophomore | Allendale, Mich. | Management | 3.70 GPA)
Elliott earns Academic All-District® honors for the first time in his career. A two-time Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) All-Academic Team selection, he has excelled both academically and athletically during his first two seasons with the Colonials.
 
On the ice, Elliott was named to the All-AHA Second Team in 2025-26 after earning All-Rookie Team honors as a freshman. He has also been recognized three times as AHA Defenseman of the Week.
 
In 75 career games, Elliott has recorded 12 goals and 26 assists for 38 points while adding two power-play goals, three game-winning tallies and 126 blocked shots.
 
Patrick Johnson (Sophomore | Chesterfield, Mo. | Marketing | 3.78 GPA)
Recently named captain of the Colonials for the 2026-27 season, Johnson earns Academic All-District® honors for the first time in his career. He is also a two-time AHA All-Academic Team selection.
 
Johnson was recognized as the Male Unsung Hero at the 2026 Colonial Choice Awards for his leadership on and off the ice. Through 74 career games, he has registered eight goals and 14 assists for 22 points while winning 472 faceoffs.
 
Jackson Reineke (Junior | Faribault, Minn. | Finance | 3.59 GPA)
Reineke collects Academic All-District® recognition for the first time in his career. A three-time AHA All-Academic Team honoree, he has been a consistent contributor both in the classroom and on the ice.
 
After returning to action during his junior season, Reineke was named Male Comeback Player of the Year at the 2026 Colonial Choice Awards. In 73 career games, he has totaled 20 goals and 27 assists for 47 points. Nine of his goals have come on the power play, including two game-winning markers.
 
Trent Wilson (Sophomore | Tsawwassen, B.C. | Sport Management | 3.65 GPA)
Wilson earns Academic All-District® accolades for the first time in his career. He is also a two-time AHA All-Academic Team selection.
 
Through two seasons at RMU, Wilson has appeared in 72 games, recording 10 goals and 23 assists for 33 points. He has scored four game-winning goals and owns 613 career faceoff wins with a 54.4 percent success rate. As a freshman, he earned AHA Rookie of the Week honors once.
