MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU men's soccer head coach Jonathan Potter has announced the Colonials' 2026 schedule, a 17-match slate that features nine home contests at the North Athletic Complex, three exhibition matches and 10 Horizon League games.
 
The Colonials enter the 2026 campaign after posting a 6-4-7 overall record and a 3-1-5 mark in Horizon League play last season. RMU advanced to the Horizon League Semifinals and returns a talented core looking to build upon that success.
 
RMU opens the preseason with a trio of exhibition matches, beginning with the program's first-ever meeting against Rio Grande on Aug. 8 in Moon Township. The Colonials then travel to Dayton on Aug. 13 before wrapping up exhibition play at home against Seton Hill on Aug. 16.
 
The regular season begins on Aug. 20 when RMU welcomes Drexel to the North Athletic Complex. The Colonials hit the road for a matchup at Canisius on Aug. 23 before returning home to host Waynesburg on Aug. 27 and crosstown rival Duquesne on Aug. 30.
 
September opens with a road trip to St. Bonaventure on Sept. 4 before RMU begins Horizon League action at Detroit Mercy on Sept. 9. The Colonials then return home to host Mercyhurst on Sept. 14 before welcoming Oakland for their Horizon League home opener on Sept. 19.
 
A challenging stretch follows with a non-conference matchup at Akron on Sept. 22 before RMU travels to Green Bay on Sept. 26. The Colonials return home to face Milwaukee on Oct. 3 before heading to IU Indy on Oct. 7.
 
RMU hosts Purdue Fort Wayne on Oct. 10 during Alumni Weekend. The Colonials then travel to Northern Kentucky on Oct. 17 before returning to Moon Township for Senior Day against Wright State on Oct. 24. The regular-season road schedule concludes Oct. 30 at Cleveland State.
 
The Colonials close the regular season at home against Northern Illinois on Nov. 3 before turning their attention to postseason play.
 
The 2026 Horizon League Men's Soccer Championship begins with quarterfinal action on Nov. 8, followed by the semifinals on Nov. 11 and the championship match on Nov. 14.
