MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU cross country head coach Bryan Delsite announced the Colonials' 2026 competition schedule, which features six meets, including hosting the RMU Colonial Invitational and the Horizon League Championship. 

The Colonials will open the 2026 season on Friday, Sept. 4, as the Colonials travel across town to compete in the Pitt Invitational at Schenley Park. 

RMU returns home the following week to host the RMU Colonial Invitational on Friday, Sept. 11, at the Youthtowne Fields in Clinton, giving fans an early opportunity to see the team in action.

Following a brief break, Robert Morris heads to Ohio for the Youngstown State Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 26, before wrapping up the regular season at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 17, in Princeton, N.J.

The postseason begins on familiar ground as RMU hosts the 2026 Horizon League Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Oct. 31, in Clinton, Pa. 

The Colonials will then compete on Saturday, Nov. 14, when qualifying student-athletes travel to Bethlehem, Pa., for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships, hosted by Lehigh University.
