MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU men's hockey team has announced its 2026-27 schedule, featuring a 34-game regular-season slate highlighted by 22 Atlantic Hockey America contests and several non-conference matchups against nationally prominent opponents.
 
The Colonials will open the season with a challenging road trip to Wisconsin, playing a two-game series against the Badgers on October 2-3.
 
Following the season-opening series, RMU will continue its non-conference schedule with a pair of games against Miami (Ohio) on October 15 and 17, including a home matchup at Clearview Arena on Saturday, October 17. The Colonials will then travel to Penn State for a midweek contest on October 20.
 
RMU will begin AHA play on the road against Bentley on October 23-24 before returning home to host Air Force for a two-game conference series on October 30-31.
 
The Colonials will close out the first half of the season with road series at Long Island and Sacred Heart before welcoming Niagara to Moon Township for a pair of games on November 27-28. RMU will then travel to Canisius on December 4-5 to close out the calendar year.
 
The new year begins with a non-conference home series against St. Lawrence on January 2-3. The Colonials will then return to conference action with road games at RIT on January 8-9.
 
RMU will host Army on January 15-16 before welcoming Sacred Heart to Clearview Arena on January 22-23. Both home series will be doubleheaders with RMU women's hockey.
 
The Colonials will then travel to Holy Cross for a two-game series on January 30-31. RMU's last non-conference game of the regular season will be against Penn State on Sunday, February 7.
 
RMU will close the regular season with home series against Canisius and RIT on February 12-13 and February 19-20, respectively, before traveling to Air Force for its final two games of the regular season on February 26-27.
 
The AHA postseason begins with the conference's first round on March 2. The quarterfinals will follow March 5-7, with the semifinals scheduled for March 12-14. The AHA Final is set for March 20.
