GREEN BAY, Wis. – The RMU men's soccer team picked up a point on the road Saturday, battling Green Bay to a scoreless draw. The Colonials move to 4-3-3 overall and 1-0-2 in Horizon League play.
FIRST HALF
Most of the play took place in the midfield during the opening stages of the match. Green Bay recorded the first shot of the contest in the 15th minute before putting its first attempt on target in the 18th minute.
Neither side was able to generate much offense over the final 20 minutes of the opening half, as RMU was held without a shot through the first 45 minutes.
SECOND HALF
After Green Bay received two yellow cards early in the second half, the Colonials began to create more opportunities in the attacking third.

Joaquin Fazal and
John Krug each recorded a shot, but none were on target. In the 66th minute,
Oscar Bech nearly broke the deadlock off a free-kick attempt, ripping a shot on target that was saved by the Green Bay goalkeeper.
The Phoenix appeared to find the breakthrough later in the half, but the goal was disallowed due to an offside call. Green Bay also hit the crossbar late in the match, but neither side could find the back of the net as the contest ended in a 0-0 draw.

- The Phoenix held an 8-2 advantage in corner kicks.
- Green Bay was called for 16 fouls, while RMU was whistled for 13. The Phoenix received four yellow cards, while the Colonials received one.
- RMU defenders Tayshaun Reid, Oscar Bech, Abdul Kamara and Callum Doyle-Travers each played all 90 minutes.
- Senior captain Josh Lane made two saves and recorded his 15th career clean sheet.
