2012 Highlights (Freshman):
- Named NEC Defensive Rookie of the Year and claimed All-NEC Second Team honors at defensive back
- Became the first true freshman in the conference to claim an All-NEC award at any position since 2009
- Played in 10 games, missing the season finale due to injury, and earned nine starts at cornerback
- Forced five turnovers, combining interceptions and forced fumbles, topping the NEC in regular season action
- Posted 58 tackles on the season, including a team-high 35 solo stops
- Tallied three interceptions, two forced fumbles, six pass breakups and a fumble recovery
- Named NEC Defensive Player of the Week Oct. 1 and notched two Rookie of the Week awards (10/1, 10/22)
