2010: Played in all 15 games for the Colonial ... Ranked third on the team in points with 46 ... Was one of four underclassmen to be named to the All-Northeast Conference First Team ... Scored 28 goals to rank fourth on the team ... Ranked third on the team in assists with 18 ... Recorded one game-winning goal, one man-up goal and one man-down goal ... Picked up 14 ground balls and caused three turnovers.

2009: CAA All-Rookie Team ... Competed in 16 games ... Led all Colonial rookies with 10 goals and was second amongst rookies for assists with 10 and points with 20 ... Seventh overall leading scorer on the squad and also added eight ground balls and one caused turnover ... Scored at least one point in 12 of 16 contests and finished the season with six multi-point games ... Earned his first collegiate point with an assist in a 20-11 win against Bellarmine (2/21/09) ... In the Colonials' very next game recorded his first goal, which happened to be the game-winner, in an 11-8 win over Manhattan (2/27/09) ... Secured his first multi-point game with three helpers in an 18-8 win against Detroit Mercy (3/1/09) ... Collected one goal and one assist against VMI (3/7/09) and added one ground ball ... Captured a season-high three goals against Ohio State (3/11/09) ... Tallied one goal and one assist against CAA foe Hofstra (3/28/09) ... Dished out two helpers in contests against Delaware (4/11/09) and Sacred Heart (4/25/09).

High School: Played for team Canada in the U-19 games for lacrosse and tallied 13 goals and four assists in 2008... Competed in hockey and lacrosse during high school ... Named male hockey MVP in 2008 .

Personal: Son of Jon and Jackie Matisz ... Born June 8, 1989 ... Major is business administration.

What do you like best about your team?

The team camaraderie is what I like best about our team; we truly are one big family. These guys are everything I look for in a bunch of brothers. These guys are the hardest working guys I know on the field and the most entertaining guys I know off the field.  These guys are all teammates and friends through my four years here, but more importantly will always be my friends and a part of my family for years after college.
