Biography

2017-18 | Junior Season
- Skated in every game (41) for the second straight season
- Ranked sixth on the Colonials with 22 points (4g, 18a)
- Scored 11 of his points (2g, 9a) on the power play
- Put together a pair of four-game scoring streaks, which included a season-best three-point output Feb. 6 at RIT
- Picked up three points (all assists) in seven AHC playoff games
- Led team/league and tied for fifth in Division I with 85 blocked shots
- Made AHC all-academic team for third straight year

2016-17 | Sophomore Season
- Ranked fourth on the team with 30 points (8g, 22a) and didn't miss a game
- Earned four assists Oct. 8 at RIT, setting a single-game season high for RMU
- Netted 12 points (2g, 10a) in first eight games of season
- Scored 20 of his points (6g, 14a) on the power play, plus a short-handed goal
- Had a seven-game point streak from Jan. 6-Feb. 3, amassing two goals and seven assists
- Added three points (all assists) in four AHC postseason games
- Ranked third on team and 97th in Division I with 54 blocked shots
- Received AHC all-academic team honors

2015-16 | Freshman Season
- Played in 34 of 39 games in his first season
- Scored 2 goals and recorded 9 assists for 11 points
- First goal for the Colonials came on Feb. 26, helping RMU clinch the regular season championship with a road win over Canisius
- Second goal scored was the game-tying goal to force overtime in the Atlantic Hockey semifinals vs. Army
- Blocked 63 shots, tied for 47th in NCAA, fourth in the conference and second on RMU
- Named RMU Freshman of the Year for Men's Hockey
- Received AHC all-academic team honors

Pre-RMU Highlights
Offensive-minded defenseman recorded an impressive 99 points (29g, 70a) in 130 games for the Brockville (Ont.) Braves of the Central Canada Hockey League. Named a CCHL second-team all-star for his performance during the 2014-15 season. Prior to his two seasons with Brockville, Israel was part of the renowned Honeybaked development program in his native Michigan.
