2015-16 | Senior Season:
Gibson has been stellar in his senior season, scoring 18 goals & 15 assists, tied as the nation's 5th leading scorer with 33 points. Gibson is the number two scorer in Atlantic Hockey, trailing only his teammate Zac Lynch.
Gibson was the Hockey Commissioner's Association player of the month in October as well as the Atlantic Hockey player of the month, after tallying a point in each of Robert Morris’ first six games and multiple points in five of the six games. Gibson posted six goals and seven assists in the month of October, recording his first career hat trick in an 8-2 victory at Niagara. Gibson notched five assists helping the Colonials to a split with No. 10 Michigan, which included a 4-0 win, Robert Morris’ first win over a top-10 ranked team since December 2012.
Gibson is ranked in the top 40 in the career standings among active players in four categories, two inside the top 25: Points (99 points, 24th), Goals (55 goals, 7th), Power Play Goals (10 PPG, 39th), Game-Winning Goals (7 GWG, 30th). Gibson is also 64th in assists with 44.

- Ranked third on the team in goals, fifth in plus-minus rating and seventh in points
- Tied for fourth on RMU with three power-play goals
- Fired the third-most shots on the squad (119) and connected on 12.6 percent of them (fourth on RMU)
- Finished the season on a seven-game scoring streak (7g, 2a)
- Scored goals in a team-best four straight games from Feb. 20-28
- Excelled in AHC playoffs for second straight year, posting four points (2g, 2a) in three games
2013-14 | Sophomore Season:
- Played in 41 of RMU's 42 games, recording 31 points (15-16) for fourth on the team's scoring list
- Was Colonials' top faceoff man, winning 269 of 520 draws for a 51.7 percent success rate
- Ranked third on the team in shots (121), fourth in shooting percentage (12.4) and fifth in plus/minus (+15)
- One of just three Colonials to score a shorthanded goal and had two shorthanded points
- Scored the first goal of a game five times, tops on the squad
- Earned a season-high three points (1-2) Feb. 28 at Mercyhurst in a 5-5 tie
- Had pair of two-goal games: Jan. 18 vs. AIC and March 22 in AHA title game win over Canisius
- Scored eight points (4-4) in seven league playoff games to help RMU to first AHA crown
- Put together two five-game scoring streaks, including an all-playoff stretch from March 9-22
- Named to AHA All-Academic Team for second time
2012-13 | Freshman Season:
- Played in all 38 games for the Colonials in his freshman season
- Made RMU debut on Oct. 13 at Quinnipiac
- First career goal and point was the game-winning-goal at Canisius on Nov. 9
- Recorded first career power-play goal against UConn on Jan. 12
- Led all Colonial freshman in goals with seven
- Tallied 10 points on the season (7-3) and recorded 80 shots
- Finished the season ranked sixth on the team with 33 penalty minutes
- Named to AHA All-Academic Team
Pre-RMU Highlights:
- Recorded 54 points (23-31) and a +34 rating for the NAHL's Amarillo Bulls and coach Dennis Williams during the 2011-2012 season
- Had five points (2-3-5) in eight playoff games for Amarillo
- Scored 67 points (31-36) for the Hamilton Red Wings and Huntsville Otters of the OJHL in 2010-11
- Netted 46 points (13-25) in 56 games for two OJHL teams during the 2009-2010 season
- Racked up 65 points (25-40) in 68 games for the Stoney Creek Wariors of the GOJHL during the 2008-09 season
- Earned 44 points (27-17) in 67 games for the Burlington Eagles Minor Midget AAA team in 2006-07
