2023-24 Highlights (Freshman)
- Appeared in 22 games as a rookie, producing one assist
- Made his collegiate debut in RMU's home opener against Bowling Green (10/7)
- Recorded his first career point with an assist vs. Canisius (2/17)
- Blocked a season-high four shots as well against Canisius (2/17)
- Ended the season posting 13 shots on goal and 13 blocks 

Prep Highlights: 
- In junior hockey, Gangl previously played two seasons in the CCHL for the Smiths Falls Bears
- During the 2022-23 season, he was named an Alternate Captain
- That season, he appeared in 53 games, scoring 12 goals, 30 assists and 42 points
- In the playoffs, he dressed for another 17 games, scoring two goals and one assist
- The year prior for the Bears, Gangl took the ice for 29 contests, finding the back of the net six times along with 12 assists, totaling 18 points
- Before joining the Bears, he played at the beginning of the 2021-22 campaign for the Pembroke Lumber Kings
- For the Kings, he appeared in 10 games, producing three assists
- Prior to competing in the CCHL, Gangl began 2021 in the NAHL with the Bismarck Bobcats, taking the ice for nine games
- Academically, received Proficiency Awards in Biology and Physics as a Senior in High School
- Attended FE Madill Secondary School
