Robert Morris University Athletics

RMU Vice President and Director of Athletics Chris King '94 has inaugurated and formed the RMU Athletics Advisory Council. The RMU Athletics Advisory Council is a prominent and select group of RMU alumni and supporters who work closely with the Director of Athletics to identify critical program needs and to provide advisement regarding long-range plans for RMU Athletics. 
 
The RMU Athletic Advisory Council will:

• Serve as advocates for the department of athletics and advisor to the Director of Athletics
• Establish mutually-beneficial partnerships with individuals, corporations and foundations
• Provide feedback and support regarding outreach and fundraising efforts for the department of athletics
• Assist in community and public relations, within and beyond the campus

The RMU Athletics Advisory Council serves as a communication bridge between the Director of Athletics and key stakeholders and support fundraising efforts, particularly focusing on the annual department core priorities, major gifts for capital projects and a commitment to elevating the basketball program in the Horizon League.
