Opened in the fall of 1998, the North Athletic Complex (NAC) is the official home for the Robert Morris University men’s and women’s soccer and softball programs. The complex was constructed following the clearing of a 24-acre parcel of land that was previously a heavily wooded hilltop. Today, the site consists of two professional-grade natural grass soccer fields and a softball field, offering an authentic playing experience in the heart of the Moon Township campus.
In January 2017, the university expanded the complex with the announcement of the Student Recreation and Fitness Center. Serving as the centerpiece of the North Athletic Complex, the center features a pair of indoor basketball courts, a fully equipped weight room and cardio room, and three studios for group exercise. The adjacent outdoor court complex further supports the university's intramural and recreational sports programs, creating a vibrant athletic hub for all students.
The NAC Soccer Field specifically provides a spectator-friendly environment with bleacher seating located along the touchline, a high-definition scoreboard, and a dedicated press box. The facility is meticulously maintained to ensure a fast and consistent surface for collegiate competition. Its central location makes it easily accessible for the campus community and visiting fans alike.
Admission and parking to all soccer events at the North Athletic Complex is free of charge.
