Ty Aeschbacher joined the RMU Football staff in July 2025 and serves as the Special Teams Coordinator and Tight Ends coach.
Prior to RMU, Aeschbacher was the head coach at Charleroi High School for two seasons.
Aeschbacher was a graduate assistant Illinois Wesleyan in 2020 and 2021. Before joining the IWU staff, Aeschbacher spent the previous two seasons at Adams State as the Tight Ends coach.
From 2015 to 2017, Aeschbacher was the Offensive Coordinator at Carmichaels. In 2016, he was a part of the Mighty Mikes program that won its first conference championship in eight years and helped guide the team to its first playoff appearance in 14 years.
A native of Carmichaels, Pa., Aeschbacher played at Waynesburg and earned a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2018. In 2021, he graduated from Illinois State University with a master’s in psychology of sport.
