Ryan McGorry was named equipment manager at RMU in April of 2020.
Prior to joining the staff with the Colonials, McGorry, a native of Shaler, Pa., served as the head football equipment manager at Ball State University in Muncie, Ind., from 2015 to 2020. He has also had collegiate stops at Iowa State (2013-15) and Connecticut (2012-13).
McGorry also has extensive experience in the Arena Football League (AFL), having served four seasons with the Philadelphia Soul as head equipment manager and assistant football operations from 2008 to 2012. He also spent 2010 as equipment manager with the Dallas Vigilantes.
A 2005 graduate of Clarion University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts and sciences and liberal studies, McGorry worked in the equipment room as an undergrad before beginning his career with the Golden Eagles as football equipment manager until 2007.
