George Aramide joined the RMU Men's Basketball staff in June 2024.
Aramide (pronounced: Uh-rah-muh-dee) comes to RMU after spending the 2023-24 season at Fresno State.
Prior to Fresno State, Aramide spent two years on staff at Arizona State as an Assistant Coach, helping the Sun Devils earn an NCAA tournament bid in the 2022-23 season under Head Coach Bobby Hurley. ASU’s 23 wins tied for the fifth most in program history and were nine more than previous season.

Before entering the college ranks, Aramide coached at George Harris Preparatory High School in Mississauga, Ontario. His teams produced a pair of number one ranked players in Canada. Additionally, Aramide’s AAU program – Run N’ Dunk – won the Canadian National Invitational Tournament in 2018.

Aramide was born in London, England, attended Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, Canada and played professionally in Spain.Â
