Adrian Torok-Orban

Adrian Torok-Orban enters his second season as the offensive coordinator for the Colonials in the 2023 season.

In his first season, Torok-Orban led of the best offenses in the ASUN Conference. The Colonials led the ASUN in goals, assists, shots on goal and averaged 12.94 goals per game in 2022. Torok-Orban additionally worked with Taggart Clark, who ranked 15th in the nation in goals per game. In seven of 16 games in 2022, a member of Torok-Orban’s has scored 6+ points. This was highlighted in Taggart Clark’s 8-point game against Cleveland State, as well as Jake Boudreau’s 10-point game in the 2022 ASUN Championship game against Utah.

Torok-Orban, returned to RMU after spending the 2020 and 2021 seasons as a graduate assistant at Mercer. In his first season with the Bears in 2020, Torok-Orban helped Mercer get off to a 6-1 start, the best in program history, before the remainder of the year was canceled due to the global pandemic.

A 2018 graduate of RMU with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in management, Torok-Orban started each of his four seasons as a student-athlete with the Colonials. In 61 career contests, he racked up 87 goals and 26 assists for 113 points. Torok-Orban, a native of Toronto, Ontario, was a key component for the Colonials in 2018, who claimed their first Northeast Conference (NEC) Tournament title and subsequent bid to the NCAA Tournament. He also served on the coaching staff for RMU as the Colonials repeated as NEC Tournament champs in 2019.
