Kimberly Dweck

Kimberly Dweck will enter her fourth season as an assistant coach at Robert Morris University in 2017-18.

In her three seasons at Robert Morris, the Colonials have made a trio of NEC Championship Games, winning back-to-back titles in 2016 and 2017. RMU has gone 59-39 during that timeframe and has notched 38 victories in conference play.

Dweck joined the women’s basketball staff after spending the 2013-14 season at Rhode Island College. Prior to her time at Rhode Island, she played 118 games at guard for the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) women’s basketball team, accumulating 505 points and 226 assists from 2010-13.

A native of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y., Dweck helped lead the Highlanders to their first Great West Conference (GWC) Tournament title in 2013 and was named All-GWC Honorable Mention. She also timed the NJIT Division I single-game record in assists with nine against St. Francis Brooklyn on Nov. 20, 2012.

During her time at NJIT, Dweck served as a volunteer head coach for the AAU New York Sting Boys U-15 youth basketball program. With the Sting, she conducted practice and coached players during all games, while also assisting in player development.

Dweck also interned for Career Athletes in Newark, N.J., where she helped establish a presence between the company and school using social media and Microsoft applications.

Dweck earned her Bachelor’s degree in business marketing from NJIT in 2013.
