Jeremy Hoy

Hoy is a strength consultant with the Robert Morris University men's and women's hockey teams and men's and women's lacrosse.

He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) with the NSCA, a performance enhancement specialist (PES) with the NASM, a NASE certified instructor in speed and explosion training, and a Flex Band Certified Instructor. Hoy has a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Slippery Rock University, and a master’s degree in performance enhancement and injury prevention from California University of Pennsylvania.

Hoy has worked at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, N.Y., and Duquesne University, in addition to a variety of other coaching positions with athletes at many different levels. He is currently the head strength and conditioning coach for the Youngstown (Ohio) Phantoms and works with many hockey teams and players in the Pittsburgh area.

Athletes that use his guidance can be found at more than 20 Division I universities playing competitively during the school year, as well as various NHL and AHL teams.
