Renee Miller was named assistant coach for the Colonials in September of 2024.
Miller, a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., joins RMU after spending the last six years working in NCAA Compliance for institutions at the NCAA DI and DII levels. She spent her first three years as Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance before being named the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance at Seton Hill University. In addition to her compliance role, Miller is also the school’s Senior Woman Administrator and Student Athlete Advisory Committee advisor. Prior to joining the Colonials, Miller spent a year at the University of Pittsburgh as a Director in the NCAA Compliance office.
Prior to joining the Seton Hill compliance office, Miller was a five year member of the Seton Hill women’s lacrosse program. Over her career she scored 60 goals and added 161 assists. Her 56 assists as a junior were the second most in the PSAC that season. The team advanced to the PSAC playoffs in Miller’s final three seasons. The 2015 team won a program best 14 games.
Miller earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration from Seton Hill in 2015 and then earned a MBA with a Sports Management focus from Seton Hill in 2016.
Miller and her husband, Chris have a daughter Reese.
