She recently graduated from Niagara University, where she spent five seasons as a member of the women’s lacrosse team and earned her masters degree in Sports Management in 2021. 

A standout for the Purple Eagles both on and off the field, Swartwout was a three-time MAAC All-Academic Team member as well as a team captain starting in 2019.  

A native of Cortland, N.Y., the First-Team All MAAC honoree led NU in scoring each of her last two seasons.  Playing as a midfielder, she amassed over 100 career points for the Purple Eagles and graduated last spring in sixth on the programs’ all-time goal-scoring list.
