High School: Helped Liberty to the state quarterfinals where they fell to Winters Mill, 13-12 • Liberty finished 2010 ranked No. 24 in the ESPN Rise Fab 50 (a ranking of the top 50 women's lacrosse team's in the nation) with three off its four losses coming to teams ranked in the national top-three • won four Monocacy Valley Athletic conference titles with the Lions and made the Maryland 2A Regional finals in 2008 and 2009 • earned varsity letters in both basketball and lacrosse and captained her lacrosse team in 2010.

Personal: Daughter of Ken and Donna Carey and Kevin and Maria Ruark • has five siblings four older - Bethany, Brandon, Aaron and Tiffanie - and a twin sister, Brooke • her sister, Bethany, played lacrosse at Ohio State and her twin sister, Brooke, will play for Stony Brook
