After four years as a right side hitter for the Colonials, Amanda Craig returns to Robert Morris as a student assistant for the 2013 season. 

As a student-athlete, Craig helped the Colonials to post season appearances in each of her four seasons while leaving a lasting impression at Robert Morris.  Craig finished her career with an attacking percentage of .206, ranking among the top ten in program history.  She also finished with 250 blocking assists, a number that ranks as the fourth most by a Colonial.

Craig surpassed 200 kills in each of her four seasons which included a personal best of 251 kills as a freshman.  In 2010, her sophomore season, Craig accumulated 78 total blocks, the highest block total of her career.  As a junior, she recorded a .276 attacking percentage, the highest of her career, as she tallied 201 kills.  During her senior season in 2012, Craig saw action in 25 matches while recording 204 kills and 66 total blocks.   

Prior to attending Robert Morris, Craig was a four-year letterwinner at St. Agnes Academy in Houston, Texas.  While at St. Agnes, Craig led her team to four district championships while being named to the All-State and All-District First Teams in 2007 and 2008.  St. Agnes would claim a state championship and two third-place finishes during Craig’s high school career.

Craig returns to Robert Morris to complete her Environmental Science degree.
