"I am beyond grateful and fired up to join the RMU family," said Thomas. "I would like to thank Head Coach Danny Doherty, Vice President & Director of Athletics Chris King, and the entire RMU department for this opportunity. I would also like to thank the family, friends, and fellow coaches who have helped guide me in this decision. From the moment Danny and I first spoke about this, I knew it was a special opportunity to work for somebody I deeply respect and admire on and off the court. Danny is a remarkable individual who surrounds himself with great people who are about the right things, and I couldn't be more excited to take this next step in my coaching career under his wing. I am stoked to hit the ground running, continue building relationships with this fantastic group of girls, and help get this program on the path to success that Danny has laid the foundation for."Â
