Robert Morris University Athletics

Daniel “Happy” Davenport enters his second year as the Athletic Equipment Manager for Robert Morris and primarily works with the football program.

Prior to RMU, Happy spent the 2023 season serving as a Football Equipment Graduate Assistant under Alvy Armstrong at Youngstown State. Prior to joining Youngstown State he worked for the Tennessee Titans as a Training Camp Equipment Intern during the summer of 2023. During training camp he received the nickname "Happy" from Coach Mike Vrabel. Happy started as a Student Football Equipment Manager in 2022 with the University of Cincinnati Football program, working under Dalvin Jones who is now with the New England Patriots. 

A native of Blanchester, Ohio, Happy graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Administration in 2023.

He has been certified by the Athletic Equipment Managers Association since 2023.
