Ryan Moore was hired as the Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing and Fan Experience at Robert Morris University in August of 2026, returning to the Colonials after serving as the university’s Athletic Marketing Assistant from August 2023 through January 2025.
In his new role, Moore leads marketing and fan experience efforts for RMU Athletics, developing strategic initiatives designed to increase fan engagement, attendance and revenue while enhancing the overall game-day experience. He previously managed in-venue operations for 10 of RMU’s Division I sports, ran in-game entertainment for football, men’s and women’s basketball, and men’s and women’s lacrosse, and served as a primary marketing contact for football, men’s lacrosse, volleyball and softball. He also strategically managed RMU Athletics’ social media content plan, helping generate a 14 percent increase in X/Twitter followers and a 19 percent increase on Instagram, while launching and managing the department’s TikTok account.
Prior to returning to Robert Morris, Moore served as the Director of Marketing & Fan Experience at Kennesaw State University. He led marketing strategy and execution for women’s basketball, volleyball, softball, women’s soccer and women’s lacrosse, while also directing on-field marketing operations for home football games. During the 2025-26 season, Kennesaw State recorded the highest-attended season in school history with 118,392 ticketed fans. Moore’s strategic fan engagement initiatives also contributed to four football sellouts in 2025, with each ranking among the 11 most-attended games in program history. Women’s basketball also recorded its highest season attendance average on record during the 2025-26 season.
Moore also brings extensive experience in collegiate event operations, including serving as a primary marketing contact and managing the in-game show for the 2026 Conference USA Baseball Championship. He previously managed the in-game show for the 2023 NCAA Division II Volleyball National Championship and assisted with operations for the 2023 MAC Women’s Lacrosse and ASUN Men’s Lacrosse conference tournaments.
A Robert Morris graduate, Moore earned his Master of Business Administration and Certificate in Management in 2025 after completing his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Sport Management and Certificate in Sales in 2024. He was also a member of the RMU football team.
