Stephen Morrison serves as Robert Morris University's Associate Athletic Director for Marketing & Fan Experience. A member of the RMU Senior Athletics Cabinet and the Horizon League Cabinet, he oversees the external operations department spanning creative, media relations, fan experience and serves as sport administrator for Cheer & Dance.

Since joining RMU in 2023, Morrison has helped drive the program to new heights, highlighted by the highest-grossing ticket revenue year in program history in 2025-26, four broken student attendance records, and all-time single-game attendance marks in both Men's Basketball (4,058) and Women's Basketball (1,289). Under his direction, RMU Athletics has generated more than 100 million social media impressions across its 15 sports accounts, adding over 25,000 Twitter followers and 32,000 Instagram followers, with six accounts more than doubling their audiences. He also led the digital strategy that grew the RMU Gameday App following by 65% and LinkedIn by 190%.

Morrison spearheaded RMU's adoption of Asana as an enterprise project management platform, making Robert Morris one of only two NCAA Division I programs using the tool at that level. He also introduced interactive NIL digital boards and in-venue fan technology, and oversees ticketing, corporate and broadcast activations with ESPN+, NEC Front Row and SportsNet Pittsburgh.

Before RMU, Morrison spent two years at Marucci Sports leading enterprise social media strategy for the baseball and softball equipment industry's premier brand, growing a community of 600,000-plus followers across Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, and directing real-time MLB Postseason coverage. He collaborated directly with professional MLB athletes on content and brand activation and earlier managed a 300-plus-account team sales portfolio, an experience that shaped the community-driven approach he brings to RMU today.

A former college baseball player at the University of Louisiana Monroe, Morrison holds a Master's degree in Sports Management and a Bachelor's degree in General Studies from ULM, along with an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Bossier Parish Community College.

Stephen and his wife, Carrie, reside in the Pittsburgh area.
