Senior guard David Appolon of the basketball team garners the Christmas edition of the Higher Images RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week after helping the Colonials post an 84-81 victory over Delaware (12/22/14) in their final non-conference home game of the 2014-15 campaign. In helping fill in at point guard, Appolon contributed 12 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals in the win over the Blue Hens. In reaching double figures in scoring for the second straight game, Appolon led Robert Morris in assists and also tied for team-high honors in rebounds. So far this season, the native of Philadelphia, Pa., is supplying the Colonials with averages of 7.8 points and 4.6 rebounds per contest.
