Graduate student Alyson Londot of the volleyball squad has been selected as the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Oct. 13, 2021. In a 3-2 victory over Youngstown State (10/8) last week at the UPMC Events Center that kicked off Homecoming festivities, Londot led the Colonials with a season-high 16 kills while also recording a .300 hitting percentage, three digs and four blocks. In the first two sets of the match as the Colonials grabbed an early lead, Londot, a native of Utica, Ohio, racked up 11 kills. RMU is 4-1 (.800) on the 2021 season when Londot finishes with double digits in kills, and she owns a pair of Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week nods, having also taken home the honor Sept. 8, 2021. Owning a double major of communication and organizational leadership, Londot has compiled a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.80.
