Moon Township, Pa.?Kathleen Caggiano (Moon Township, Pa. / Moon), a freshman forward on the Robert Morris University women's soccer team, was named to Northeast Conference / Brine Rookie of the Week.

Caggiano earns Brine / Rookie of the Week honors after leading the Colonials to a pair of victories over Youngstown State and Bucknell. Caggiano, who had a hand in each of the Colonials' three goals this week, recorded an assist in a 1-0 decision over the Penguins, before tallying a goal and assist in a 2-1 win over Bucknell-- the team's first over the Bison in eight chances.

Caggiano leads the Colonials in points with five and has registered at least one point in four straight games. Her three assists this season are also a team best.

After starting the year 0-4, Robert Morris has won two straight games to improve to 2-4. They host Howard Tuesday, September 18, in a 4:00 p.m. kickoff.
