Columbus, Ohio ?The Robert Morris University women's lacrosse team fell to Ohio State, 17-2, at Jesse Owens Stadium on Sunday afternoon. With the loss, the Colonials fall to 1-5 overall, while the Buckeyes improve to 5-2.  

Juniors Jenn Collins (Edgewater, Md. / South River) and Emily Tomlinson (Springfield, Va. / West Springfield) scored a goal apiece, while Ashley Levering (Glenwood, Md. / Glenelg) recorded two assists.

Sophomore Erica Webb (Arnold, Md. / Broadneck) made a career-high 16 saves in net.

Ohio State outshot Robert Morris, 44-12, and held the advantage in draw controls, 13-8, and ground balls, 26-17.

The Colonials open Northeast Conference action this week when they take on Mount St. Mary's on Thursday, March 20 in Emmitsburg, Md.
