Colonials Lose to Wagner On Penalty Kick

Staten Island, N.Y. / Hameline Field — The Robert Morris University women's soccer team was shutout at Wagner, 1-0, Sunday afternoon in a Northeast Conference game at Wagner College. The Colonials fall to 4-9-3 overall and 0-4-2 in the league while the Seahawks move to 11-4-2 and 4-2-1 in conference games.
 
Junior Becky Schoenecker (Cheswick, Pa. / Fox Chapel) had four saves in goal for Robert Morris. Sophomore Madison Kozlowski (Cranberry Township, Pa. / Seneca Valley) led RMU with five shots.
 
Wagner scored the lone goal of the game in the 24th minute when they were awarded a penalty kick. Siara Kolpon took the opportunity and scored.
 
Robert Morris begins its final weekend of regular season play Friday, Nov. 1, at home against Fairleigh Dickinson.
