With the loss, the Colonials fall to 8-7-2 overall and 2-4 in the NEC. The Blue Devils remain perfect, 6-0, in league games and move to 9-7-1 overall.

Central wasted no time in establishing control of this game, turning an RMU turnover into a 1-0 lead just 52 seconds after the opening whistle. Stephen Walmsley created the chance for Zach Zurita who scored his fifth goal of the year.

Neither team would score the remainder of the half, but the Blue Devils built upon their lead in the 54th minute. A quick counter strike started at midfield and ended with Zurita feeding Eddy Bogle a through ball in the RMU box. Bogle fired low and left to beat Colonials freshman keeper Joseph Kuta (Mississauga, Ontario / St. Joan of Arc) on the breakaway.

Robert Morrris continued to pressure, taking 10 second half shots. Sophomore forward Neco Brett (Kingston, Jamaica / Excelsior) put the Colonials on the board in the 59th minute scoring his 13th goal of the year on a penalty kick.

Josef Abele stood tall in net the rest of the way for host CCSU, making six of his eight saves in the second half. Kuta had six saves for RMU.

The Colonials wrap up the regular season next Sunday, Nov. 10, traveling to Saint Francis University for a 1:00 p.m. kick-off.
