CapsuleThe Robert Morris University women's soccer team wraps up its 2014 regular season home schedule Sunday, Oct. 26, by hosting the Saint Francis University Red Flash. Not only will the game serve as Senior Day – celebrating the careers of
Katie Austin and
Becky Schoenecker – but it will also carry playoff implications with the Colonials and Red Flash finding themselves in the thick of the playoff hunt. The top four NEC teams earn berths in the postseason and RMU sits fifth and SFU is third. The Colonials have a game in hand, but three wins in the final three games would likely guarantee the Colonials a berth in the postseason.
Â
All-Time vs. Saint Francis U.The Colonials are 5-16-2 all-time against the Red Flash in a series that dates back to the program's inception in 1992. They have met every season since then, including twice in 1994. RMU went 4-1 from 1995 through 1999, but are just 1-11-2 since. Seven of those 11 losses have come by the score of 1-0.
