Robert Morris (4-1, 0-0 NEC) received a five-goal performance from Brittany Byerly (Wexford, Pa. / Pine-Richland) in the second game of a three-game road trip for the Colonials.

After RMU recorded the game's first goal, a tally from Corey Karwacki (Sparks, Md. / Hereford), UC-Davis (5-0, 1-0 MPSF) would go on a run where the Aggies collected the next six goals over a span of ten minutes to hold a 6-1 lead over the Colonials midway through the first half.

The Colonials would hold the Aggie offense at bay for the remainder of the half while Byerly collected four of her five goals to close out the half and pull Robert Morris within one, 6-5.

To start the second half, UC-Davis picked up a pair of goals in the first three minutes to expand RMU's deficit to 8-5.

Byerly temporarily stopped the bleeding for the Colonials with her fifth goal of the game to draw the Colonials within two, 8-6.

The Aggies responded with a four-goal run to open up a six-goal lead, doubling up Robert Morris, 12-6.

Jessica Karwacki (Sparks, Md. / Hereford) would pick up the final Colonial goal with four minutes remaining, but the Aggies would add three more before the final horn to make the score 15-7.

Suffering her first loss of the season, Kaitlin Pentz (Sykesville, Md. / Century) made season-high eight saves in the contest.

Robert Morris concludes its three-game road trip with a contest on Friday evening against Saint Mary's at 6:00 p.m.
