Highland Heights, Ky. – Northern Kentucky scored in the 83rd minute and again in overtime to overtake the Robert Morris University women's soccer team in a 2-1 win at NKU Soccer Stadium in Highland Heights, Ky. It was the second straight overtime game for the Colonials who slip to 1-5-1 on the season. The Norse improve to 3-1-2 overall.

Sophomore Antonia Grese tallied her third goal of the season in the 34th minute, capitalizing on the early pressure created by the Colonials.

The lone goal by Grese stood for nearly 50 minutes before a header by Katelyn Newton tied the game in the 83rd minute. A late injury to RMU senior goalkeeper Becky Schoenecker forced her exit in the 90th minute after she stopped six shots in regulation.

The Norse tallied the gamewinning goal in the 97th minute. A cross into RMU box led to a scrum in the penalty area. Sami Rutowski, who assisted on NKU's first goal, finally got a clean shot off scoring her second of the season and the golden goal.

The second stage of the team's current three-game road consists of a 7:00 p.m. game at Niagara this Thursday, Sept. 18.
