Lewisburg, Pa. - Bucknell scored the gamewinning goal with less than five minutes to play to hand the Robert Morris University women's soccer team its four consecutive loss. The Bison improve to 2-3 while the Colonials slip to 1-4.

Junior goalie Becky Schoenecker made seven saves, and got help from all three sides - the left post, the right post and the crossbar - during the course of the game. Freshman Maddison Duncan even chipped in, clearing a ball off the endline.

The Bison finally broke through in the 85th minute when Montana Paley was able to send home a shot from the top of the box following a cross off the foot of Meghan Holtz.

Madison Kozlowski and Kristie Hamilton each had four shots for RMU, but it was Greer Monahan who had the best scoring chance. Driving in from the left side, her one-on-one opportunity was snuffed out just before she could get a shot off.

Robert Morris returns to North Athletic Complex Sunday, Sept. 7, to host St. Bonaventure.
